The plaque is black granite with gilt lettering, saying;

MONTEBELLO, EMUFIELD & MARALINGA

ALSO TO THEIR FAMILIES
AND THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF
AUSTRALIA AND THE SOUTH PACIFIC


Scottish BNTVA members donated the money needed to purchase a stone and also a new BNTVA standard for Scotland. The BNTVA Scottish Standard was laid up by Roddy Moffat, (who passed away in 2020), in Martin's Memorial Church, Francis Street, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
