BNTVA Memorials across the UK

"It has been very good to be reminded of the Nuclear Test Memorials all over the United Kingdom.

This is especially so for me, as I have had the privilege of dedicating fourteen of them over the past thirty-five years. It is often said that ‘to remember is to pay tribute’. I am sure that is true. Each of the stones holds special meaning and special memories for the families and colleagues of those who served.

They are also an important educational resource which will remain when there are no more Test Veterans to give first-hand experience of those vital but terrible days."
