We are trying to expand the collections to include more of the history of British atomic weapons research.
Key areas we would like to find items from are, the Tube Alloys programme, British contribution to the Manhattan Project, Operation Crossroads, High Explosive Research (HER). Though not classed as part of the British Nuclear Testing Programme, these were all critical to its development.
We are also keen to add items from Flight 1323 to the collection these were RAF squadrons who carried out cloud sampling missions including sampling at the American Operation Castle series 1954.
