Maralinga 1955-67
The Maralinga base in South Australia was set up in 1955 to improve on the facilities at Emu used during Operation Totem 1953.
We have included two separate galleries for the major trials at Maralinga,
Operation Buffalo
and
Operation Antler, this gallery is for the set up period and minor trials. We would like to include the clean up operations but currently we have very little in the collection.

Smith Robert ( Passed away 1 Feb 2023)Capt Boddy (William ). Beadle Kenneth. Smedley Malcolm. Palmer Andrew. Barbour Andrew. James William. Cavanagh John. Burton David. Dodds Douglas. Moss Peter. Meo Anthony. I believe that CPL Tooth is Christopher but I am not 100% sure.
